Anchor Strategic Partners

Your numbers tell a story. Let’s turn it into a plan.

CFO guidance for business owners who want clearer cash flow, stronger profitability, and confidence about what comes next.

Common Growth Challenges

The business is growing. So why does cash still feel tight?

Revenue is expanding, but daily peace of mind remains out of reach. Growth introduces complexity that standard reports alone cannot resolve—and you shouldn't have to navigate it by guesswork.

Profitable on paper, but cash feels unpredictable.

Your P&L shows healthy margins at month-end, yet cash balances swing without warning, leaving you wondering where the profit actually went.

Ready to hire or invest, but unsure what you can afford.

You see genuine opportunities to expand your team, upgrade equipment, or enter a new market, but lack a model showing how it impacts your reserves.

Financial reports arrive, but the next step is still unclear.

You receive monthly financial statements from your bookkeeper, but they look backward. You need someone to translate historical figures into forward-looking decisions.

Your Strategic Partner

A partner for the decisions behind the numbers.

Most business owners already have a competent bookkeeper managing daily transactions and a trusted CPA filing year-end tax returns. Those are essential roles, but neither is designed to sit beside you and help evaluate tomorrow’s choices.

Anchor connects your financial data to your operational realities and strategic goals. Working collaboratively alongside your existing CPA and bookkeeper, we interpret the story behind your figures and build a proactive financial roadmap so you can lead with clarity.

We don’t replace your tax CPA or bookkeeping team—we provide the strategic bridge that turns their reporting into decisive business momentum.

How We Collaborate

A straightforward, practical approach

Financial advisory should feel collaborative, focused, and immediately useful. Here is an overview of how we work together.

Step 1

Understand your business and goals.

We begin by listening deeply to where your business stands, your operational model, what challenges feel most pressing, and where you want to take the company.

Step 2

Connect your numbers to the decisions ahead.

We analyze historical financial performance, cash patterns, and current cost drivers to illuminate the real choices facing your business.

Step 3

Build a practical plan and review progress together.

Together, we establish prioritized action steps, set clear financial milestones, and regularly evaluate results to adapt as your business evolves.

A letter to you, the business owner

Why I created Anchor Strategic Partners

As a seasoned financial leader, I’ve often sat across from smart business owners asking a frustrating question: “How can we be profitable and still need cash to make payroll?”

I’ll admit it: even in my master’s in accountancy program, we spent little more than one class on the cash flow statement. In my experience with Fortune 100 companies, it often felt like the end result of everything else. But for small and mid-size businesses, understanding cash flow is central to keeping the business moving.

The cash flow statement connects your income statement and balance sheet to tell a critical story: where your cash came from and where it went. But there are a lot of moving parts. How do you turn that story into a decision about what to do next?

That question is what drew me into CFO advisory. I wanted to help more business owners connect their numbers to a practical plan.

My focus is on that bigger picture. Reliable bookkeeping is the foundation of my work, and I work alongside your tax accountant to help put their recommendations into practice. My role is to understand your cash flow, your business, and your goals, then help you identify the actions that matter most each month.

Anchor Strategic Partners is deeply personal to me. I love the idea of being a steady presence as you protect what you’ve built and continue to grow. A partner you can speak openly with, ask questions of, and trust to think things through beside you.

You bring your goals, your vision, and your values. Together, we use them to guide your decisions. Some days, that means pausing to see where you’ve been and confirming where you’re headed. Other days, it means adjusting the plan when something unexpected comes along.

I want to help you build a business that supports your life today and a legacy you’ll be proud of tomorrow.

Behind Anchor Strategic Partners

Meet Jenny Box

“I want to be the partner you didn’t know you needed.”

With more than 25 years in accounting, finance, and Fortune 100 business leadership—including deep hands-on controllership and CFO experience—I have spent my career helping teams gain control over their financial trajectory.

I have always loved puzzles, connecting the dots, and uncovering the authentic story behind the numbers. Financial statements shouldn't be an intimidating set of columns you glance at once a month; they are a living narrative about how your business generates value and where it can go.

My favorite part of finance has never been spreadsheets for their own sake. It is the conversation about what the numbers mean and what to do next. When we sit down together, my goal is to give you clarity, relieve financial tension, and help you make confident decisions for your business.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers to help you understand how Anchor integrates into your business.

Your bookkeeper ensures past transactions are correctly classified, and your tax CPA prepares filings and ensures tax compliance. Anchor fills the strategic gap between them: taking historical records, projecting forward, modeling future business decisions, and helping you manage cash and profitability proactively. We work alongside and collaborate smoothly with your current professionals.

A CFO advisor helps answer practical questions such as: Can we afford to hire key personnel right now? How will expanding inventory or equipment affect cash reserves over the next six months? Which services or clients are generating the healthiest profit margins? How should pricing change as operating costs shift? We connect financial data directly to these business decisions.

Anchor is specifically tailored for established businesses generating approximately $500,000 to $10 million in annual revenue. At this scale, operational complexity is high enough that owners need senior-level financial guidance, but hiring a full-time executive CFO would be burdensome overhead.

Our initial conversation is an informal, thoughtful discovery session. We will discuss where your business currently stands, your near-term financial questions or bottlenecks, and your priorities for growth. There is no pressure—it is simply a conversation to determine whether our advisory approach aligns with your needs.

Let’s make your next decision clearer.

Whether you are evaluating growth, navigating cash flow predictability, or looking for a strategic partner to help interpret what comes next, let's start with a conversation.
